Here are some things that may qualify as a scamboni:
- I'm trying to shift credit card balances from card to card. I do have to pay the transfer fee, but the 0% interest for 12-18 months makes up for it as long as I remember to transfer before the grace period is over.
- I keep doing a fast food restaurant survey for free frozen custard, so every time I go, I get it free and then do the survey again. A few times I've missed the time frame for the survey or they won't let me do another one. When this happens, I just make up 4 numbers for the code. So far, it works. And if it doesn't, the customer is always right.
- I don't have cable, but a friend/neighbor lets me watch and record things at her house. That's where I got hooked on Impractical Jokers, and I don't have to pay a cable bill.
- The last one is probably more shoplifting than scamboni. Summers during college I worked at a grocery store. If I had to do gobacks, I would grab a candy bar while I returned items to the shelf. I still shop at the store, so I feel like I've made up for it.
Enjoying the Squadcast and hope you keep it going."
